While most other herbivores choose to graze and browse closer to the ground, the giraffe chooses to Aim High! They choose not to compete at the lower levels and grow! THE UNITY OF THE ZEBRA UMOJA WA PUNDA MILIA
While most other creatures of the savanna blend into the brown landscape by camouflaging themselves against the environment, the zebras teach us the virtue of unity... of the strength of the collective, for they choose a bold approach. Alone, a zebra stands out against the environment. Its beautiful and distinct stripes visible from a great distance. A risk indeed when you can easily be preyed upon... but you seamlessly blend into the herd. A borderless maze of whizzing blacks and whites that make it difficult for predators to single out any one member. The protective strength of unity.
